Ensor Plumbing Annual Holiday Water Heater Giveaway
Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Sponsor
The Ensor Plumbing 1st Annual Holiday Water Heater Giveaway (“Promotion”) is sponsored by Ensor Plumbing, located at 16925 York Road, Monkton, Maryland 21111 (“Sponsor”).
2. Promotion Period
The Promotion begins at 5am Eastern Time on Sept 1st and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on November 13th All entries must be received during the Promotion Period.
The Grand Prize drawing will be conducted on or about November 15th and posted by November 16th.
3. Eligibility
The Promotion is open to legal residents of Maryland who:
- Are at least 18 years old at the time of entry;
- Own and occupy a residential property within Ensor Plumbing’s designated service area;
- Have an existing residential water heater installed at the property submitted with the entry; and
- Are legally authorized to approve work at the property.
The service area includes eligible locations within Baltimore, Harford, Carroll and Howard counties, subject to confirmation by Ensor Plumbing.
Employees, owners and immediate family members of Ensor Plumbing, Maryland Media Group, participating vendors and anyone involved in administering the Promotion are not eligible.
Void outside the designated service area and wherever prohibited by law.
4. How to Enter
Entrants must complete the official entry form and provide:
- Full name;
- Residential address;
- Telephone number;
- Email address;
- A photograph showing the entire existing water heater;
- A photograph showing the manufacturer’s label, serial number or manufacture date, if visible;
- The water heater’s fuel type; and
- Confirmation that the entrant owns and occupies the property.
Limit one entry per household. Duplicate, incomplete, altered, automated, fraudulent or late entries may be disqualified.
The age of the water heater does not affect an entrant’s chances of winning the Grand Prize.
5. Grand Prize
One Grand Prize winner will receive a qualifying standard residential water heater replacement and professional standard installation provided by Ensor Plumbing, with a total approximate retail value of up to $3,500.
The Grand Prize may include:
- A qualifying standard tank-style residential water heater;
- Standard professional installation;
- Standard reconnection to existing compatible plumbing, fuel and venting systems;
- Removal and disposal of the existing water heater; and
- Applicable manufacturer’s warranty.
The final equipment selection will be based on the property’s existing system, household requirements, available installation conditions and applicable codes.
6. Upgrade Option
The Grand Prize winner may apply up to $3,500 as a credit toward an upgraded water heater, including a larger-capacity, high-efficiency, specialty or tankless system offered and installed by Ensor Plumbing.
Any cost exceeding $3,500 will be the homeowner’s responsibility and must be approved in writing before installation.
The $3,500 prize credit has no cash value and will not be paid directly to the winner.
7. Costs Not Included
Unless Ensor Plumbing expressly agrees otherwise in writing, the prize does not include:
- Major plumbing modifications;
- Electrical service or panel upgrades;
- Gas-line installation or relocation;
- Chimney, flue or venting modifications;
- Structural or access modifications;
- Water-damage remediation;
- Asbestos, mold or hazardous-material work;
- Code corrections unrelated to the standard replacement;
- Work required outside the immediate water-heater installation; or
- Any amount exceeding the $3,500 maximum prize value.
Ensor Plumbing will inspect the installation site before confirming that the prize can be awarded at the submitted property.
8. Grand Prize Selection
The Grand Prize winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Every eligible entry will have an equal chance of being selected. The water heater’s age, condition, appearance or efficiency will not affect the random drawing.
9. Oldest Water Heater Award
One eligible entrant with the oldest verified water heater will receive a $250 Visa gift card, with an approximate retail value of $250.
This award is separate from the random Grand Prize drawing. The award will be based on the oldest verified manufacture date, as determined from the manufacturer’s label, serial number, documentation and, if necessary, an inspection by Ensor Plumbing.
The submitted water heater must be installed at the entrant’s eligible property when entered. Ensor Plumbing’s determination regarding the age of the water heater will be final.
If multiple entries contain water heaters manufactured on the same earliest verified date, the winner will be determined by the earliest eligible entry received among those tied entries.
A household may receive only one prize. If the Grand Prize winner also has the oldest verified water heater, the Oldest Water Heater Award will be presented to the entrant with the next-oldest eligible water heater.
10. Winner Notification and Verification
Potential winners will be contacted by telephone and/or email using the information included with their entries.
A potential winner must respond within 72 hours and may be required to provide:
- Proof of identity and age;
- Proof of property ownership and residency;
- Permission for Ensor Plumbing to inspect the existing water heater;
- A signed eligibility affidavit;
- A liability and publicity release; and
- Any additional information reasonably necessary to confirm eligibility.
If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, refuses verification, is found ineligible or cannot accept the prize under the Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
11. Installation Conditions
Installation will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time, subject to equipment availability, site conditions and Ensor Plumbing’s schedule.
The prize must be installed at the residential property listed on the winning entry and must be accepted and installed by December 31st unless Ensor Plumbing approves an extension in writing.
The prize is nontransferable, cannot be installed at another property and cannot be redeemed for cash.
12. Publicity Permission
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Ensor Plumbing to use the winner’s name, city and state, submitted entry, photographs, likeness, voice, statements, testimonial and before-and-after installation images for advertising, publicity, social media and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
Have the winner sign a separate photo/video release before filming the installation.
13. General Conditions
Ensor Plumbing reserves the right to:
- Verify the accuracy and authenticity of any entry;
- Disqualify entries involving fraud, manipulation or rule violations;
- Cancel, suspend, extend or modify the Promotion if circumstances outside its reasonable control compromise its administration or fairness; and
- Substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Ensor Plumbing is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected or corrupted entries; illegible photographs; inaccurate contact information; internet or technical failures; unauthorized entries; or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
14. Social Media Disclaimer
This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta. Entrants release Facebook, Instagram and Meta from responsibility relating to the Promotion.

16. Applicable Law
The Promotion is governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Maryland. It is void where prohibited.
