I have used Ensor in the past and usually felt they treated me well. Pricing was in line with the jobs they did in my home.
Today I had them come out to move my well tank 2 FEET to have water proofing work done in the basement this coming up Tuesday.
I needed the tank moved two feet away from the wall. TWO -----FEET ----KEEP ----THAT IN MIND.
The plumber quoted $1,900.00 to move this tank TWO FEET. There were no barriers. Nothing blocking the tank. Literally move the tank. I agreed on the price due to the fact the work I was having done was scheduled for this Tuesday.
I almost fell over. I just had that tank REPLACED by Ensor two years ago. The cost was $2,200.00 TANK REPLACEMENT!!!!
Now they wanted to charge me $1,900.00 to move the tank TWO FEET!!!! I asked how much it would cost to move the tank back into original space. It would cost me an ADDITIONAL
$300.00 to have the tank moved back. WHAT????? NOW IT WILL BE $2,200.00!!!!!
I was upset and phoned Ensor. They reduced the cost to $1,350.00. Said that includes the price of the tank returned to original spot. THEY INFORMED ME I COULD PAY JUST TO HAVE TODAY'S WORK DONE 1/2 $1250.00. Then pay $627.00 when the tank is returned to original spot. Math is not in-line with $1,250.00. But, at this point I was done.
I paid $627.00 for today's job
I will not use Ensor in the future. Average tank move is anywhere between $200 to $500. Found this out later.
The$1,900.00 price was an insult to my intelligence. I spoke to several people today about this incident. They agreed that the $1,900.00 was excessive.
Yes, I questioned how much it might cost before I actually set the appointment. Was told they could not really do that. Ok. But, to charge me almost 3 times the going rate for a simple job is just unbelievable!!!!!

I had an appointment with Ensor today and I couldn't be happier with my technician or his work. I had a pipe leaking in the basement and Josh fixed it so neatly and quickly. I also ended up having the entire house inspected to check for any other issues following the cold temperatures we've had lately. Josh was very professional and friendly and replaced my broken pipe and made it look so clean and added a very easily accessible shut off valve which was missing before! Highly recommend Ensor plumbing and Josh Williams for your plumbing needs!

things I liked:
on time arrival with texting alerts
good communication of issues I wanted done at my home
quick service - well executed work
A third job was noticed by the tech as vital and so he swapped in a new valve quickly.
things that could have been better-
cost - seemed high for what the jobs were, and for the cost of the materials.
The techs should have ensured that the water flow to my whole house humidifier was working properly. I still have not had much luck in getting the system to work. Its not a water delivery issue, but still, the goal was to get the humidifier working- and it was not shown to me in working condition.
